GREAT RIFT VALLEY, Kenya, Sep 6 2024 (IPS) – The Great Rift Valley is part of an intra-continental ridge system that runs through Kenya from north to south. It is also the largest of the country’s five watersheds and a catchment area for 12 rivers that flow into five major lakes.
